Find Your Personal Inspiration

The message today at Soulful Sunday was about allowing ourselves to be present, have passion for what we do and doing what we love. Timothy pointed out that only 1% of our inspiration comes from others...ultimately it needs to come from within. Thus, we worked on finding our own personal inspiration. We finished up the cycle portion of our team training session today with the song "Hold on Tight" by Greg Holden. Here is the song and the words (which spoke so truly to our theme today...).

I've been selling my name
For the sake of who knows
I've been trying to explain
How it's all gonna go
I don't take my life
For granted
I've been waking up tight
Day after day
Hope is taking it's time
To go my way
But I don't take my life for granted
I'm gonna hold on tight
To what I've been handed
Oh
I'll try not to complain
About the things I have lost
Cause when you have something great
That just means there's a greater loss
So when you look at yourself
Tell me who do you see
Is it the person you been
Or the person you're gonna be
Don't take your life for granted
Don't take your life for granted
Why don't you hold on tight
To what you've been handed
Oh
Don't take your life for granted
Don't take your life for granted
Don't take your life for granted
Why don't you hold on tight
To what you've been handed
Cause you just don't know how long you will have it

Enjoy and find your personal inspiration!!

Is Your Cup Half-full or Half-Empty?

These past two Soulful Sundays, Tim has read the words to one of the songs we've been using. Many people have mentioned that it has touched them deeply. Thus, we wanted to share it with a broader audience and let you share in the lesson that it continues to give to us.

Today's message was about accepting and recognizing the good and bad in each of our lives. Do we see the cup as half-empty, or half-full? We're hoping that each of you see your cups on the "full" end of things.

Here's to a glorious week!
